YOUNG AT HEART
Senior adults 50 years and older are invited to meet from 2-4 p.m. every fourth Sunday of the month, unless otherwise notified, except during July and August. Every year they have a Thanksgiving dinner, Christmas dinner, Marti Gras, and Fourth of July celebration. Minimal dues are collected annually to help pay for dinner meat and for the door prizes drawn at every meeting. Snacks are shared whenever a full meal is not scheduled.
Meetings always include a program that may consist of musical entertainment or a talk on a spiritual or educational topic. Playing games brought in by the seniors are on the program about once a year. See the church bulletin for dates and program topics.
SENIOR APPRECIATION DINNERS
The St. Gerard Guild plans, organizes, and serves a for senior adults. Every years they decorate around a different theme. They have used themes of "Take me out to the ball game," ...... Children of the guild members do the serving and help with the clean-up.
