Catholic Schools Week 2012 theme is Catholic Schools: Faith. Academics. Service. The annual observance is January 29 to February 5.

Youth Parish Faith Program “Nurturing the Seed from Heaven” is a Parish Faith Program for Ages 14-17 and Ages 18-30. Next meeting Feb. 4, MJFC Library, 3-4:30pm.

Boy Scout Sunday All Cub and Boy Scouts, and Venturers who are members of SVDP Parish are invited to participate in the SVDP Scout Sunday, 5 PM Vigil Mass, Sat., Feb.4. Please assemble at 4:45 PM at the main entrance to the church, in full uniform.

Taizé Night Prayer Feb. 5, 7:30pm, SVDP Church, Sunday Night-Prayer of the Roman Church using the beautiful music of the Community of Taizé, in France. 

Marian Devotion Wed., Feb. 8, 7-9 p.m., at SVDP a special service honoring Our Lady of Guadalupe , the Patron of the Americas will be held. All parishioners are encouraged to join in this special Marion Devotion which is hosted by the Knights of Columbus. 

PTO Speaker Wed., Feb. 8, 6:30–8pm, MJFC. Presentation and panel discussion on opportunities to teach our children the importance of “digital wellness”, digital citizenship and the consequences when we find ourselves falling behind our children in this new digital world.

K of C Pancake/Taco Breakfast Sunday, Feb., 12, 8am-12:30pm, SVDP cafeteria.

St. Basil Coffee will sponsor a free cup of coffee at the KC Breakfast. Saint Basil Coffee revenue supports missions in Latin America.
